Full-day tours across London, Cotswolds, Stonehenge, Oxford, Windsor. 4+ hours, your itinerary, your pace, English-speaking chauffeur.

The Best of England,
in a Single Day
Sunrise over the Cotswolds. Stonehenge before the crowds. Home for dinner.
Leave London before it wakes. Roll into Bibury as the mist lifts off the honey-stone cottages. Walk the Neolithic stones at Stonehenge before the coach tours arrive. Long lunch in a village pub Constable would have painted. Back on Park Lane for pre-dinner drinks.
One day. Six centuries of English history. Your chauffeur, your Mercedes V-Class, your itinerary.

Guests from around the world
Five recent journeys. Five different languages. Same standard.
"Frank was waiting at Arrivals with a name board and bottled water. It's a small thing, but after fourteen hours on a plane, it mattered. Booked him for the return trip too."
Genau das, was man erwartet."

Why American Travellers Choose a Private Driver in London
You are flying five thousand miles to London. Your transport should be the one thing you do not have to worry about. Here is exactly how Chauffeurz removes the five concerns American visitors mention most.
No Uber-Style Surge Pricing
Your quote is your final price, locked at booking. No midnight multipliers, no rain surcharges, no shock fees when you land. American travellers burned by Uber's dynamic pricing appreciate the honesty.
One Driver for Your Entire Visit
Book once, keep the same chauffeur for the airport pickup, hotel transfers, day tours and return. Same face, same trust, no stranger every ride, no re-explaining your preferences each day.
Flight Tracked, Driver Waits
We monitor your flight in real time. If you land three hours late after a rerouted red-eye, your chauffeur is still there. Sixty minutes of free wait from actual landing, meet and greet inside the terminal with a name board.
English-Fluent, TFL Licensed, DBS Cleared
Every chauffeur speaks fluent English, holds a valid TFL Private Hire driver badge, and passes a full background check. No language friction, no unregulated driver risk, no learning as you go.

Book Your Private Driver →Before you book, you probably want to know
Eight honest answers for American, Canadian and international visitors. If yours is not here, our full FAQ has forty more.
Is a private driver in London safer than Uber for American visitors?
Yes, statistically and practically. Every Chauffeurz driver holds a Transport for London Private Hire badge, passes a full Enhanced DBS criminal record check, and undergoes continuous safety training. Uber uses algorithm-assigned drivers with rotating turnover, so you never know your driver until they arrive. With Chauffeurz you receive the driver's name, phone number, photo and vehicle details before pickup. American families visiting London consistently rate this predictability as their primary reason for choosing a private driver over ride-hail apps.
Can I pay in USD, EUR, or another currency?
Yes. Prices display in GBP, USD, and EUR at booking. Payment is processed through Stripe or Revolut and charged in the currency you select, with no hidden FX markups appearing on your card statement days later. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Cash and cheques are not accepted. Canadian dollar and Australian dollar are in progress; for CAD or AUD payment, contact us directly by WhatsApp or phone. A small processing surcharge may apply on certain card types.
Do American tourists need to tip London chauffeurs?
Tipping is not obligatory in the United Kingdom for private chauffeur services. Our fixed prices include the driver's fee in full. If your chauffeur goes above and beyond, a discretionary tip of 10 to 15 percent is welcomed but never expected. Unlike New York or other American cities, London chauffeurs are salaried professionals paid per job, not tip-dependent restaurant staff. Feel free to skip the tip entirely if the service was standard.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Every airport transfer includes real-time flight tracking and 60 minutes of complimentary wait time after your plane lands. If your flight is delayed, your chauffeur is still there, no action needed from you. Additional wait beyond the first hour is billed at £100 per hour, in 15-minute increments. In the rare event you miss your flight entirely, contact us as soon as possible. The original booking is non-refundable per our terms, but we will help you rebook for your new arrival.
How will I find my chauffeur at Heathrow, Gatwick or another London airport?
Your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall, past customs, holding a name board with your surname. The day before your arrival we email you the exact meet-and-greet point for your specific terminal, since each London airport and each terminal has a designated pick-up spot inside Arrivals Hall. You will also receive your chauffeur's direct phone number and photo. No need to search or worry about signs in a foreign language, they will find you.
Do your chauffeurs speak English and other languages?
Yes. All Chauffeurz chauffeurs are TFL licensed, London-based, and speak fluent English. Many also speak a second language, including Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Romanian, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi among others. If you would prefer a chauffeur who speaks your language, request it at booking and we will match where availability allows.
Are Congestion Charge, tolls and airport fees included in the price?
Your quoted price includes the vehicle, chauffeur, standard tolls, and ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone) where relevant. Where applicable, airport pickup fees, the London Congestion Charge (£15 through the CCZ), and any late-night surcharge (10 percent between 22:00 and 06:00) are shown transparently in the quote, with no surprises after your journey. American visitors: this means the number you see is the number you pay, in the currency you selected.
What is your cancellation policy?
For airport transfers and one-way journeys: free cancellation up to 12 hours before pickup; 50 percent retained between 6 and 12 hours; no refund under 4 hours. Hourly hire: free up to 24 hours; 50 percent retained between 12 and 24 hours; no refund under 12 hours. Daily hire spanning multiple days: free up to 48 hours; 50 percent retained between 24 and 48 hours; no refund under 24 hours. Refunds process within 14 business days. Card processing fees are non-refundable.
