Maximum 25kg per item, must fit securely inside the vehicle. We don't carry fine art above £50,000, live animals, hazardous materials, firearms, cash, or refrigerated pharma — those need specialist operators.

Yes. Our commercial private-hire insurance includes goods-in-transit cover up to £50,000 per journey, included as standard on every hand-delivery booking with no additional charge and no per-item declaration required under that limit. For items declared above £50,000 — certain watch pieces, high-value jewellery, or art in the mid-value range — additional cover can be arranged in advance via our insurer at cost. Items above the £50,000 threshold that we cannot cover under standard policy are referred to specialist operators such as Momart for fine art or Time:Matters for high-value watchmaking.

When your chauffeur is dispatched, both sender and recipient receive an SMS with a live tracking link showing the vehicle's real-time GPS position from pickup to delivery. At pickup, the driver photographs the item and shares it back to the sender via WhatsApp or SMS as chain-of-custody confirmation. At delivery, the recipient signs on the driver's device or on a delivery note for signature capture, providing name, signature, and timestamp — all forwarded automatically to the sender. This is the same infrastructure used by professional courier services, adapted to our chauffeur fleet.

Yes, subject to fleet availability. Standard delivery notice is two hours, meaning dispatch within 120 minutes of booking. For guaranteed pickup within 60 minutes of booking — typically for signed contracts that must reach the other party before a deadline, or last-minute event material — add £40 priority surcharge on Executive or First Class fares. Same-day cut-off for standard bookings is 4pm on weekdays for guaranteed same-day delivery within London; later cut-offs are possible for shorter-distance central London routes.

Yes, at no additional cost. Non-disclosure agreements are signed by the assigned driver before pickup for any delivery requesting them — standard practice for celebrity home deliveries, embargoed corporate materials, confidential legal documents, and sensitive PR shipments. Chauffeurz also holds a company-wide confidentiality policy binding on every driver regardless of NDA status. Your own custom NDA form is accepted; alternatively we provide a standard template drafted with a UK employment solicitor.
